“Al-Narjis” Company announced that it had obtained the approval of the Governor of Basra, Asaad Abdul Amir Al-Eidani, for a request it submitted to establish the largest industrial complex in the governorate, on an area of ​​land designated for the industrial sector. The company stated in a statement followed by Al-Raya that the project includes about 1,000 integrated industrial workshops with diverse specializations, and is expected to contribute to the employment of more than 10,000 young people from the governorate, in addition to providing broad opportunities for indirect employment related to services and support sectors. She added that this industrial project is among the largest in Iraq, and comes within the framework of the local government's efforts to revitalize the industrial sector and create sustainable job opportunities, especially in light of the economic challenges facing the governorate. She indicated that Al-Narjis Company is scheduled to begin executive procedures immediately after completing the administrative and technical allocations related to the land and infrastructure.
