In a precise intelligence operation, the Iraqi National Security Service announced today the arrest of Ajaj Ahmed Hardan, nicknamed “Hajjaj Nokra al-Salman,” one of the most wanted members of Saddam Hussein’s regime, after six months of investigation and follow-up.
According to a statement followed by Al-Raya, the operation was carried out in coordination with the security of southern Saladin, and resulted in the overthrow of the accused who tried to evade justice by claiming his death and promoting false news about his death.
The statement stressed that this operation comes within the framework of the National Security Agency’s continuing efforts to pursue those involved in crimes against humanity under the former regime, stressing that justice will reach everyone whose hands are stained with the blood of innocents, no matter how long it takes.
