The Southern Region Railways Directorate has completed its preparations to send visitors from Basra Governorate to the Holy Karbala Governorate, as part of its plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage season.

The director of railways in the region, Redha Al-Hashemi, confirmed in a statement followed by Al-Raya that the directorate has allocated 6 air-conditioned trains to transport visitors, and all of them are fully prepared and ready to provide transport services in a safe and comfortable manner during the days of the visit.

He added that the logistical and technical preparations have been completed to ensure the smooth movement of trains and provide the best services to visitors of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), noting that the transfer operations will take place according to an organized schedule in coordination with the relevant authorities.
