The Holy Abbasid Shrine announced statistics on the number of visitors participating in commemorating the Arbaeen pilgrimage from the beginning of Safar until the twentieth of it. The shrine said in a statement followed by Al-Raya, “The electronic counting system at the main and subsidiary entrances to the holy city of Karbala documented the entry of (21,103,524) million visitors.” It showed that the systems operated with artificial intelligence and were installed at the five entrances to the city (Baghdad - Karbala, Baghdad - Al-Jamaliyya, Najaf - Karbala, Babel - Karbala, and Husseiniyah - Karbala).
