Today, Friday (August 22, 2025), the Meteorology Authority expected hot to very hot summer weather to continue in most regions of the country during the next week.

The Meteorology Authority stated in a statement, received by Al-Raya, that “temperatures will witness a slight rise until the middle of the week, then gradually return to decline to stabilize at their current levels.”

She added, “It is expected that temperatures in the central region will range between 44 and 45 degrees Celsius, while in the southern region they will reach between 47 and 48 degrees Celsius, and in the northern region they will reach between 42 and 44 degrees Celsius.”

The weather forecast indicated that, “The winds will remain northwesterly, with expectations of significant activity in their speed during Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in the central and southern cities, which may lead to the raising of dust and dirt in the desert areas, while the winds tend to be calm at intervals in the north and east of the country.”

According to the authority, forecasts stated that “the sky will be generally clear, with the possibility of some local clouds forming in the northern regions.”
