The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Dr. Faeq Zidane, today, Friday, the judiciary’s full commitment to ensuring the integrity and transparency of the parliamentary elections scheduled to be held on November 11, 2025.

Zidane said in an official statement that elections represent the basis for any democratic system and a means for citizens to express their will and choose their representatives in the legislative and executive authorities, stressing that the effective participation of the people ensures the peaceful transfer of power and prevents the monopoly of governance.

The President of the Supreme Judicial Council called on all political forces and candidates to adhere to an inclusive national discourse, far from sectarian or nationalistic charges, and to strengthen the spirit of citizenship and belonging to the state. He stressed that the judiciary will remain a guardian of the constitution, a guarantor of the rule of law, and a protector of the will of the people, in coordination with the Independent High Electoral Commission.
