The head of the Al-Sadiqoun parliamentary bloc, Representative Uday Awad, confirmed that Iraq's borders are secured with care and high responsibility, thanks to the great sacrifices and continued readiness of the heroes of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the security forces in all their formations.

Awad said in a press statement that the security forces stand today, as they have always been, an impenetrable barrier against anyone who dares to harm Iraq’s security and sovereignty, noting that the Al-Sadiqoun Bloc is closely following security developments, especially with regard to the border file.

He explained that the bloc is in a state of constant coordination and follow-up with the concerned authorities, and continues to perform its national and oversight role, stressing its readiness to provide all forms of legislative and political support in a way that enhances stability and protects the country.

The head of the Al-Sadiqoun bloc called for enhancing qualitative training for security cadres and developing field capabilities, while expanding and deepening the proactive intelligence effort, as the first line of defense in confronting security challenges and protecting the lives of citizens and the capabilities of the state.

Awad stressed that the Iraqi people, with all its components, stand united behind their security forces, supporting them and proud of their sacrifices, pointing out that Iraq today is stronger with the unity of its people, and more resilient with the solidarity of its people.
