The head of the Integrity Committee of the Basra Governorate Council, Baydaa Al-Nahi, resubmitted the file of social benefit allocations for the Khor Al-Zubair district, after obtaining the approval of the technical deputy for the Governor of Basra, Zaid Al-Imara, to separate the amounts for social benefit projects for the district from Al-Zubair district.

This measure aims to enhance Khor Al-Zubair’s share of service projects, in line with its actual needs and contributes to addressing the existing challenges in infrastructure and basic services.

Al-Nahi explained that the step falls within the efforts of the Integrity Committee to achieve greater fairness in the distribution of financial allocations, and to ensure that social benefit funds are directed towards projects that have a direct impact on the lives of citizens, taking into account the service priorities of each administrative unit.

In turn, the Technical Deputy Governor of Basra, Zaid Al-Emara, confirmed his support for this path, indicating that the necessary administrative measures will continue to be taken to serve the interest of the people of Khor Al-Zubair district and contribute to improving its service reality.
