The Al-Sadiqoun Parliamentary Bloc held a meeting headed by its head, Representative Uday Awad, devoted to discussing developments in the current political scene and the constitutional entitlements it imposes at the current stage.

The meeting focused on the importance of adhering to the constitutional deadlines for resolving the issue of electing the President of the Republic, as it is a pivotal step in completing the constitutional construction of the state and ensuring institutional and sovereign stability, while emphasizing the need to avoid any political vacuum or unjustified obstruction.

The attendees stressed that respecting constitutional entitlements at their specified times reflects the seriousness of the political forces in preserving the constitutional system, contributes to enhancing citizens’ confidence in institutions, and supports the stability and status of the state, stressing at the same time the necessity of prioritizing the supreme national interest over all other considerations.
