The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Adnan Faihan Al-Dulaimi, took the initiative to lay the first building block for institutionalizing parliamentary performance, by forming a committee of experts that includes representatives who have spent three or more parliamentary terms, along with the competent departments in the House, to prepare the parliamentary program for the sixth session.

This historic step comes with the aim of formulating clear visions, strategies and plans to strengthen the legislative and oversight roles of the House of Representatives, ensuring the sustainability of performance and raising the efficiency of the parliamentary institution.

Faihan stressed that the initiative represents a qualitative shift in the management of parliamentary work, and is based on accumulated experience and legislative experience, which enhances the Council’s ability to fulfill its constitutional responsibilities and serve the public interest.
