The Deputy Administrative Governor of Basra, Maher Al-Amiri, confirmed the continuation of the activities of the annual flower exhibition held inside the courtyard of Khatwa Mosque of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in Al-Zubair district throughout the days of the month of Ramadan and the days of Eid Al-Fitr, as it is an open space for families and the people of the city.

Al-Amiri explained that the exhibition was opened under the guidance of Basra Governor Asaad Al-Eidani, to form a social and spiritual outlet for visitors, especially those who go to the place to seek blessings, in conjunction with the atmosphere of the holy month.

He pointed out that holding the exhibition represents direct support for recreational and social activities in Al Zubair, stressing that the event will continue until the days of Eid Al Fitr, thus enhancing community mobility during the occasion.

Al-Amiri praised the role of the Municipalities Directorate and the Zubair Municipality for the special attention they paid in organizing the exhibition and holding it in an appropriate manner, in line with the nature and sanctity of the place.
