Today, Tuesday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani directed an emergency meeting of the Ministerial Council for National Security, after the bombing of the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Anbar, killing 15 martyrs and wounding others. The Popular Mobilization Forces Authority announced the martyrdom of Anbar Operations Commander Saad Dawai al-Baiji, along with 14 fighters, in an American air strike targeting the command headquarters, at dawn on Tuesday. The Authority described the strike as a “blatant and cowardly attack” that represents a blatant violation of Iraq’s sovereignty and a dangerous disregard for the blood of its people.
