The head of the Education Committee in the Basra Governorate Council, Wijdan Qasim Al-Maliki, called on the Minister of Education to review the volume of study materials for the sixth scientific grade for this year, noting that the lack of time, the large number of vacations, and the accumulation of study materials hindered their completion in the required manner.

Al-Maliki explained that reducing curricula has become necessary to ensure the quality of education and focus on the basics, stressing the importance of the ministry taking a quick decision appropriate to the remaining period of the academic year, in a way that serves the interests of students and their educational future.
